Devolver Digital Teases Five Unannounced Titles For 2021

Devolver Digital, who is arguably one of the coolest publishers on the planet, is looking forward to some new things in 2021. The indie publisher recently teased that they have five unannounced IPs that they plan to show off sometime next year, and knowing how this company operates, it’s literally anyone’s guess as to what they could be. In classic Devolver Digital fashion, they made this reveal by simply asking people on Twitter which of the next announced games they were more excited about. Never change Devolver Digital.

For those who don’t know, Devolver Digital is a video game publisher that focuses mainly on releasing indie titles. In the mere 11 years since they began operations, the company has gone onto make a serious name for themselves in the video gaming community. This is especially impressive considering that they release most of their titles on an international level, and are only comprised of 20 employees. Some of their most well-known titles include Hotline Miami, Serious Sam HD, Shadow Warrior 1 and 2, Enter the Gungeon and Carrion.

The company also published one of 2020’s biggest sensations, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. The title quickly rose to the top of the sales charts for both the PlayStation 4 and PC and instantly became the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time. This past summer, they held their annual Big Fancy Press Conference, which is parody of the stereotypical E3 press conferences, and announced some new titles there as well. They also revealed Flying Wild Hog’s next title, Shadow Warrior 3 a little after that and is due to launch sometime in 2021.

As for the aforementioned mystery titles, Devolver Digital will no doubt give us some more hints as we enter 2021. They’ll also tease and troll us as we get closer to each new IP, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
