With E3 just a couple weeks away, leaks and bits of information slipping through the cracks are at their highest level as companies get ready to reveal their big projects next month. One notable publisher THQ Nordic has already been teasing the return of two of their beloved franchise to the spotlight for this year’s convention.
The company didn’t outright reveal the name of these franchises, of course, but they did drop a couple of vague hints for fans to speculate with. But, a few fans have been putting together the publishers recent comments and an AMA that happened earlier this year on 8chan to try and find out. For the first title THQ claimed that it will be a “galactically beloved game/franchise.” This left the door open to many possibilities, but back in February a Twitter user stated that an image was uploaded by user THQN_Reinhard during the AMA that revealed THQ Nordic’s alleged lineup for E3 2019.

This post includes a Destroy All Humans title. The action adventure title places players as the role of an alien sent to Earth to collect DNA with an assortment of futuristic and outlandish weapons to terrorize humans and farm animals with. The franchise hasn’t been seen since it’s sequel in 2006, but it still has quite the following. Of course this should be taken with a grain of salt, but if this rumor does serve to be true it will be interesting to see if the title will be a sequel, a remake, or a whole new reboot of the franchise to give a new feel.
The other title on the listing which THQ hinted as a “new vision” of an existing franchise is Darksiders: Genesis. Whether this rumor is valid or not it’s certain in the realm of possibilities and would gain a lot of attention if it comes to fruition. We only have a couple weeks to wait and see THQ’s big reveal.
