Destiny’s Festival of the Lost Trailer and Start Date

Bungie recently released the news that Destiny would be seeing it’s annual Halloween themed event Festival of the Lost. Elis Morn, a character in the game, takes us in depth about what the festival has to offer.

Throughout the trailer you can see plenty of new masks as characters dance and use other emotes to show their Halloween spirit. There is even a clip of the Tower, showing off some of the spooky decorations hanging around. What’s most intriguing is that you can now obtain a special ghost outfit… for your ghost. There is also a ghost skin that gives it a set of horns and a devils tail.

Players will be able to unlock new masks, gear, emotes, and consumables that all are themed around making your character look like their about to go trick or treating. There will also be festival themed quest for players to embark on with all their new equipment. There hasn’t been any mention as to the extent of the themed missions.

Additionally, the Festival of the Lost event will add some new exotic weapon Ornaments for Bad Juju, which are on display in the trailer.

This is the third year in a row in which the event has been available for Destiny. The festivities will begin on October 25th and continue through Halloween until November 8th.

Additionally players can compete in the Trials of Osiris, “a weekly Crucible event, featuring an Elimination style game type with level advantages enabled”. With only one day left you must first collect a Trials passage from Brother Vance in the Vestian Outpost.
