Destiny 2 Reveals Details on The Guardian Games Event

In a few weeks, Destiny 2 will be having their limited-time-event happening starting from April 21 to May 12. Recently, Bungie has released its upcoming event, The Guardian Games, which is a free event. On the Bungie website, they express that “the inaugural Guardians Games is upon us” and that this event will last 3 weeks where Destiny 2 with each class of players will battle against one another to see who will be on the top.

In the newly released trailer, the Destiny 2: Guardian Games is an event where players have the opportunity to go to compete between three Destiny classes which are Hunters, Warlocks, and Titians. They get chance to battle it out through many class challenges called Medals from Eva Levante. Bungie said, “Meet with Eva and Zavala to test your skills in a series of daily class challenges. Every point you earn matters if you want to bury the other classes on the Tower scoreboard. Rise to the top and flaunt your score to add an extra stinger to your trash-talking zinger”. They also mention the victory cast in metal reward packages being given out to the team or players of the competition as well. Rewards for participating in the Guardian Games include “ a Daily reward package, a new Exotic Machine Gun, new Exotic Ghosts, and new metallic class items that change between bronze, silver, and gold based on your class standing. When Guardian Games comes to a close, your item’s metallic appearance locks… for the rest of the year”.

The founders of the Destiny 2 game also want to let their fans and players know that this is all for fun and that this is a friendly competition amongst longtime fans and also any newcomers coming to play along with this challenge. Destiny 2 is available for PS4, Stadia, PC, and Xbox One.
