Just yesterday on June 4th, developer Toby Fox and his team has officially released Deltarune chapters 3 and 4. Two months ago, during the Nintendo Switch Direct, it was revealed that Deltarune chapters 1-4 would be releasing with the Nintendo Switch 2, and there was a trailer released with that announcement. Players can play Deltarune chapters 1-4 on PC through Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 4 and 5.
The trailer that was released two months ago shows the main cast of characters Kris, Susie and Ralsei, and other creatures that they befriended along their journey through the Dark World like Lancer. There is a montage of clips from both chapters 1 and 2 that were released in 2018 and 2021. There are subtle clips showing what is in store for chapters 3 and 4.
The other day on Toby Fox’s official X account, he posted that Deltarune chapters 3 and 4 would be released the next day. He also teased the release through the official Undertale account. He has been constantly updating his X account and has stated that he and his team have been watching out for any bugs, softlocks, crashes, or other issues. They will work hard to resolve them as quickly as they can and release a patch as soon as possible.
Since the release of chapter 3 and 4, Deltarune has been at the top of the charts for best top selling game as of now, according to the official Steam charts overview page. According to an article that was published yesterday by PCGamer, the official game that included soundtrack took second place on the charts. Currently, Deltarune remains at the top of the charts.

Deltarune chapters 3 and 4 follow the adventures of Kris, Susie, and Ralsei travelling through the Dark World, befriending enemies and encountering a brand new antagonist every chapter. Players have the option to befriend enemies, or fight them. In the first chapter, there is a theme that the player’s choices do not matter, but in chapter 2, there is a different direction, showing that the player’s choices may mater after all. As for chapters 3 and 4, players will have to see if their choices will matter or not.
