DC Universe Online Coming To Nintendo Switch

Today, Daybreak Games has announced that DC Universe Online is coming to the Nintendo Switch this summer. Currently, DC Universe Online is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. DC Universe Online features over 300 DC characters that you can either fight with or against. The game allows players to channel their inner hero or villain by creating a unique, customizable character with a variety of superpowers. Players will experience thrilling, fast-paced battles alongside and against DC characters including Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, The Joker, and more. Fans can explore immersive, story-driven adventures in Gotham City, Metropolis, Titans Island, Themyscira, Atlantis and many other famous DC locations.

DC Universe Online features a unique story that has Lex Luthor traveling through time with news of a dire future: Brainiac has been building his strength, feeding on the powers of heroes and villains as they spend years battling each other to destroy humanity. In order to change the future, Lex Luthor sets off a device that gives superpowers to thousands of everyday citizens to give humanity a fighting chance. The question is can Brainiac be stopped, or is this just another nefarious plot by Lex Luthor?

During the month of May, DC Universe Online has had its Springtime Seasonal Event. The Event has Poison Ivy return to wreak havoc on the people of Gotham City. The update brings in new character updates and skins, a navigation diamond, Source marks, and universal tier vendor, and leveling content updates. Creative Director SJ Mueller said “bringing such a massive online game to Nintendo Switch has been a dream come true. As soon as the Nintendo Switch released, the development team couldn’t help but wonder, what if…? Long story short, we are so excited for players to take their DC universe wherever they go.”
