Daisy and Shy Guy are the newest characters to join Mario Strikers: Battle League‘s roster, with bombastic animations and play styles that fit each character. Daisy jumps in as a technique type whose hard to knock down, and kicks with her signature flower effect. Despite his small stature, Shy Guy is an all-around type, whose gear choices mean the difference between success and failure. Releasing alongside its newest two characters is a new gear set called ‘Knight’ that increases a character’s strength and shooting stats. Lastly, a new stadium called ‘Desert Ruin’ was added to the game. Like other stadiums, players can use it for Quick Matches or set it as a club stadium.
This newest update has finally answered fan speculation of whether Daisy would or wouldn’t appear and opened the door of possibilities regarding roster additions and future updates. Following the announcement, Nintendo revealed that two more updates would be coming to Mario Strikers: Battle League before the year was over. Despite the content still being a mystery, the Japanese game company confirmed for fans to expect more character reveals, new gear, and stadiums.
With a fresh wave of new content incoming, many Nintendo fans are excited to get their hands on these new characters; thankfully the wait won’t be long. Battle it out when the latest update for Mario Strikers: Battle League releases on July 21, 2022.
