Remember that game you had on your devices that made you want to through it at the wall, because it was so addictive and frustrating at times? Well creator behind Flappy Bird, Dong Nguyen, earlier this week teased the new game, and now Swing Copters has made its way today on iOS and Android.
Prepare to spend hours in this new difficult game that would make you feel as if you are playing Flappy Bird. Instead of going from one side to another with the previous game, with Swing Copters players will be given the goal to guide a little helicopter from the bottom to the top. Though you don’t just fly upwards, you have to avoid pairs of hammers that swing from each of the gates. In Flappy Bird, players got a point everytime they past a pipe, it is the same thing with Swing Copters, with every gate that you pass, players will get a point.
Players will notice while playing the game, that the copter will automatically fly from side-to-side, so you will need to change the direction by tapping, especially rapid tapping in order to avoid hitting gates and hammers. Just imagine learning to tie your shoe for the first time, or riding a bike for the first time and then suddenly getting the hang of it. Well, forget that in this game, just when you thought you got the hang of it, the copter will make you rethink that when it starts becoming harder to control the flight path.
Those of you who played Flappy Bird, will remember that it was taken down due to the side-effects it was having to both the players and the Vietnamese developer himself, when it came to losing sleep, due to knowing the amount of time people played the addicting game. With the new game, Swing Copters, there will be in-game ads like Flappy Bird had, which created about $50,000 per day from Flappy Bird. We shall see how this new game turns out and also the money that well come its way.
