CD Projekt Red is Working With Futuregames Warsaw to Promote and Expand Education for the Video Game Industry

Futuregames Warsaw is the Polish division for one of the world’s most renowned Rookies-certified game development schools. According to mp1st, well known video game developer CD Projekt Red is collaborating with the school to promote, support and expand access to multiple facets of the video gaming industry.

Just to give a bit of perspective on CD Projekt Red, they are the developers behind well-known franchises such as Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher series. The Witcher 3 in particular recently was recognized for selling over 50 million copies, which puts it as one of the top 10 highest grossing video games of all time. With the catalog they have for video games, it will be extremely beneficial for newer developers to get a chance to gain benefits from such an acclaimed company.

Futuregames is designed to help developers of any level learn how to get their first steps into the industry. The school is available for students who just wish to learn the basics and for those who want to make a full-time career out of developing video games.

Where CD Projekt Red will come into this process is that they will be acting as the main strategic partner for Futuregames Warsaw, helping them offer courses in game programming, designing and arts. These lessons will be held in Warsaw for all EU citizens and valid student visa holders in English.

Additionally, Futuregames Warsaw will be offering up to a 50% discount for all students’ tuition fees in the first year of the partnership. Furthermore, for the top nine highest performing students, not only will the scholarship extend into the second year, but they will also gain access to 30 weeks of internships as course participants at CD Projekt Red.

With all of these opportunities being presented to up-and-coming game designers, it will be exciting to see where this partnership leads.
