Cast n Chill is a 2D pixelated, cozy fishing game where players will be able to explore various lakes, countrysides, and different sceneries to catch fish, tagged along by a dog as well. The trailer showed off a bit of the gameplay as well as the areas with different animals inhabiting the land, and players will be able to venture into to catch different kinds of fish in these areas.
With catching the fish, players will be able to sell the fish to a salesman to make a profit. With the earnings players make, they will be able to upgrade their gear to catch rarer fish species. Players will have a map that will show them the different forests and lakes they can explore and it will automatically teleport them there.
In Cast n Chill, there will also be different modes for players to try out. There is active mode, where players can cast and catch fish quicker to speed up production. Secondly, according to the Steam page, “If you’d rather Cast n Chill you can let passive mode take over and return when ready to see what your catches of the day were.” There will also be offline progression as well. Players will be able to collect over 50 common, rare, and legendary fish in either salt or fresh water.
