Capcom Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month With Street Fighter V Charity Skins

Two pink costumes were released today for Chun-Li and Ryu in Street Fighter V in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The fundraiser is in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The announcement of the charity event was made on Oct. 6 with link to a Tiltify page for donations.

All money raised from these purchases will be donated to the foundation with a guaranteed minimum donation from Capcom of $25,000, according to their press release. Street Fighter V has sold over 46 million copies as of June 30, 2021, the press release said. The game is currently finishing up its final season of downloadable fighters with the recent release of Akira and Oro. The final character will be a new fighter named Luke who will be released in November 2021. Capcom released a statement about the pink ribbon event.
