It’s only been a couple of days since Capcom announced their Capcom Showcase and we’re already finding out which titles are going to make an appearance at the event. The company joins an extremely crowded June that is packed with a who’s who of studios and developers making this month their time to showcase some new IP’s and updates to existing ones. As for Capcom, they’ve unveiled three specific titles that we should expect to see new information with; Phantom Detective, Exoprimal, and Dragons Dogma 2.
In addition, the company also promises more titles and updates for the event. The Capcom Showcase is set to have a runtime of 36 minutes, which is plenty of time to show more than the aforementioned three titles. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and Exoprimal were both shown at the Capcom Spotlight March 2023 stream, with the former getting release date for later this month on June 30, 2023 and the latter getting a new story trailer. Dragon’s Dogma II is still fresh in the minds of Capcom fans as the title got it’s very long awaited reveal last month during the PlayStation Showcase 2023.
As for what else Capcom has in store for the showcase, that’s anyone’s guess. It’s possible that we’ll see a new entry in the beloved Monster Hunter franchise, or some new content for Resident Evil. There’s a chance that the company has been toiling around with some new ideas and created a brand new IP as well. Either way, we’re in for an exciting event, and cannot wait to see what Capcom has been working on.
