Yesterday in a leak/tactical marketing reveal, the world found out about the next Call of Duty game called Infinite Warfare. Then rumors started circulating, thanks to a Target Reservation Card, that we could also be getting a remastered version of the original Modern Warfare.
Thanks to Reddit for the image.
As you can see, the reservation card states that the remaster will come with the legacy edition of the game and that we will be able to play Infinite Warfare on November 4th this year; which falls in line with most of COD’s previous release dates.
The game’s existence was still a rumor until the official Call of Duty Twitter page responded to a two year old tweet in an interesting way.
When Angus Vanderslott said that he would “literally shit” his pants if Modern Warfare remaster would happen the game’s rep responded with simply the poop emoji followed by the pants emoji. I’m no marketing expert, but I would call that a confirmation.
I expect Infinite Warfare will get an official announcement in the coming weeks, so check back here for more information.
For right now, Call of Doodie Duty: Infinite Warfare will potentially be out November 4th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
