UPDATE: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare And Modern Warfare Remastered Finally Officially Revealed

UPDATE (6:28 PM):

According to the FAQ Activision just released for the Call of Duty 4 remaster, the game won’t be sold separately. Modern Warfare: Remastered will only come with the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe versions of Infinite Warfare.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Hey, did you all know that there is a new Call of Duty coming out? It’s only been the worst kept secret. After week of leaks, teasers, and Facebook bots, Activision finally announced Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and the much anticipated Modern Warfare Remastered.

The announcement came with a fairly hefty three-minute trailer filled with plenty in-engine footage and set to a cover of David Bowie’s Space Oddity.

The trailer gives fans a taste of the usual Call of Duty run-and-gun action except this time with a mix of spaceship dogfights and interstellar gun battles. From the looks of it, Infinite Warfare will be a mix of Halo, Titanfall, and Destiny.

It wasn’t until the end of the trailer that Modern Warfare: Remastered was confirmed to be included in the Legacy Edition, which will cost $80. Still no word on if it will be sold separately.

The official teasers began a couple days ago when people began noticing changes to the Nuk3town 24/7 map. The first being the edition of massive space ship, which appears at the end of the game, and the second being this video, found by Ryan B. on Twitter, telling people to “know your enemy”.

Then, as Game Informer reported, the Call of Duty Twitter page sent out a tweet introducing people to Lt. Reyes, telling everyone to contact him on a secure channel (Facebook Messenger). If you did, you could talk to him and after solving a few puzzles, find out the date of the game’s reveal (today).

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be out on November 4th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It’s also possible that it will be playable on the as yet unannounced “Neo” since it’s set to come out after the October cut off date.
