Breath Of Fire II Gets Breath Of Life

Following yesterday’s announcement about Breath of Fire 6 being an online mobile and PC game, Capcom has announced that one of the series’ earliest titles will be available in the coming months on the Wii U owners. Breath of Fire II is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console.

Breath of Fire II has been available on the Wii Virtual Console since 2007. The leap to the Wii U is one of convenience, but also means a Miiverse community will be created for the title.

The original Breath of Fire never made it to the Virtual Console, possibly because it was published by SquareSoft in North America. The rights could be a bit messy, which would make it more expensive to bring to digital platforms.
