It is coming up to that time of year again, Blizzard Entertainment announced today that it’s 8th BlizzCon, the annual two-day event celebrating all-things Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo, will be happening November 7-8. Just like the last event, BlizzCon 2014 will be at the Anaheim Convention Center.
You will be able to get BlizzCon 2014 tickets at two separate times, the first time will be available on May 7th at 7pm Pacific time, and the second time you will go available on May 10th at 10am Pacific time. The convention tickets are going to be $200, plus taxes and fees. There is also an option for those who wish to attend the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner, and the proceeds go towards the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, which there are approximately 200 available at purchase price of $750. Those tickets are available on May 14 at 7 pm Pacific time.
If you are unable to come to BlizzCon 2014 in person, there will be virtual tickets like it was done previous years. Pricing, availability, and information for these tickets will be announced at a later date. Those who attend in person will have the ability to go hands-on with the latest version of games from Blizzard, go to eSports events like the StarCraft II World Championship Series Global Finals, and attend panels with developers and artists. Attendees will be able to participate in the community contests with great prizes awarded. You can also expect the games that are going into beta shortly like, Heroes of the Storm and World of Warcraft expansion Warlords of Draenor, being present at the event.
“BlizzCon is always the biggest highlight of the year for us,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment. “With Hearthstone and Reaper of Souls recently launched and Heroes of the Storm and Warlords of Draenor gearing up for beta, 2014 is already shaping up to be an epic year for Blizzard gamers. We can’t wait to celebrate and share what we’ve been working on with everyone this November.”
Also expect more activities and attractions to come for this year’s show to be announced later on, which may include a Saturday evening concert. Last year Blink 182 was playing at BlizzCon.
