Bethesda fans were given their first big glimpse at Starfield’s first expansion Shattered Space. The new trailer for the upcoming DLC was revealed during the Xbox Showcase 2024.
According to Bethesda, the Shattered Space Expansion takes players down a darker storyline, where they investigate a cosmic threat hidden within the hidden city of Dazra, residing within the hidden home world of House Va’ruun with ties towards the Great Serpent.
An official release date for Shattered Space is still unknown. That said, the expansion is expected to release sometime in 2024.
Additionally, Bethesda also revealed an update coming to Starfield today, which aims to continue its efforts into improving the game’s performance and support for mods.
Specifically, the new free update will include new gear and weapons, bounties and the addition of the Creations Club, which features mods from the community that players can use to further customize their game. Players can experience the new update tonight on all available platforms.
