Publisher Sometimes You and developer Alexander Nikolaev have released Mangavania, an old school action platformer with pixel art graphics. The game is currently available on PC via Steam. It will be available on consoles later this year.
In Mangavania, players assume the role of Yuhiko, a young ninja who has gone to the underworld to find a cure for his brother. Along the way, the players will come across lost souls that they will have to free in order to advance to the next level. Players will also find spirits in secret places that will tell you a story or give you advice. There are also various boosters that can power up Yuhiko. These are represented by a sword, bow, or various skills. The game features 20 levels and an eight-bit soundtrack. Explore dungeons, fight monsters and meet new friends!
According to publisher Sometimes You who answered a question regarding releasing on other platforms, the console version of Mangavania will be released sometime in Q2 2023.
