Beastlink Announced: Closed Beta Coming May 8th

Have you ever wanted to fight a Kaiju, maybe even become one? Well, the people behind Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition, also known as Grove Street Games, got you covered. As of May 5th, they announced and released new trailer for their upcoming game, Beastlink. The game is a 32-player game where players will take control of humans on foot or in vehicles to take on giant Kaijus. You will also be able to take control of said Kaijus and do battle with others in a giant, fully destructible city. There is no official release date for the game yet, but early access is expected sometime this summer. You can wishlist the game on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox now. Also, a closed beta will take place on May 8th, a couple of days from now, so you can sign up now.

So, what exactly is this game? Well, the game takes place in a world where humanity almost came to an end. Instead, humanity survived, and now they reside in shattered strongholds while giant monsters roam the ruins. And in order to survive, you must fight with the technology that almost brought about the end, known as serum. The game will take place in open, war-torn urban cities, where you will be able to find serum in order to link with the giant beasts that roam the cities. Each beast will have unique abilities and combat styles. Players will be able to take control of both humans and monsters in either multiplayer modes or solo, and you will be able to partner up with friends. The game is built for 32 players and multiple Kaijus for all-out destruction.

Grove Street Games appears to be taking a big leap with this new game, which appears quite different from past games. They may have had a rocky road with Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition, but this game is shaping up to be different. As they plan to go to early access and have closed beta on May 8th, the devs can expand the core gameplay based on players’ feedback. The game itself is still a long way out, so much can change, and from this initial trailer, the game is only going to get better, so why not be a part of it? After all, who doesn’t want to be a giant Kaiju causing absolute destruction? As mentioned before, the game will be going into closed beta on May 8th, so sign up now and experience this new game for yourself.
