Battlefront Rogue One DLC Broken

Following the very successful release of Rogue One, a new DLC based on the hit film has been released for Star Wars Battlefront, and with it a slew of game breaking bugs, according to recent report made by GameSpot. The Scarif DLC, based on the climactic battle at the end of the movie, features two new heroes, a new Infiltration game mode, and a patch for the game. Unfortunately, there’s also a long list of bugs being reported across all platforms, including an issue that prevents players from accessing previously purchased DLC.

Fortunately for those owners of previous DLC packs, EA has issued a workaround to prevent this problem, and has declared a reissued license as the source of the bug. Other problems persist, however, including being unable to unlock the hutt contracts for the medical droid, an exploit on the U-Wing phase of the Infiltration mission, and challenges either resetting or not responding to in-game actions. The biggest issue being reported by players, however, is one in which the mission-critical U-Wing being marked as 10,000m away. This makes it impossible for players to reach the ship, and thus, makes the matches never ending.

Most gamers will want to wait until EA has fixed all of these issues before dropping money on the new Rogue One: Scarif DLC. For gamers who have already downloaded it, though, at least you can play as Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic and relive all your favorite Rogue One moments.

Star Wars Battlefront is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
