Battlefield 1 has officially joined the masses by announcing that they’ll be offering a holiday event for its players. The event will begin today and continue through December 29th and include daily rewards from completing certain tasks.
Along with this holiday event, Battlefield 1 received a new custom game called “Blind Delivery”, similar to the “War Pigeons” mode, where the minimap will not be showing. In addition to this, players will have to go into battle with only handguns and explosives. For those wanting to play the new game mode, you’ll simply have to go to the custom games tab on Battlefield 1’s multiplayer menu.
Any players who log into multiplayer after December 22nd will be given access to a special “Holiday Truce” dog tag, of which there will be one given per account. The most important thing to come out in the event is the special content available for those who have a premium pass for the game. From December 23rd to the 29th, premium pass owners will be able to get their hands on two superior battlepacks. This is an extra two superior battlepacks added to the 14 that premium pass powers will already be getting.

- December 21: The new Custom Game “Blind Delivery” goes live. Tackle this unique take on the War Pigeons mode where the minimap is turned off and only handguns and explosives are allowed.
- December 22: The “Holiday Truce” Dog Tag will be awarded to all players starting December 22 (one per account.) All you need to do is login to Battlefield 1 after this date and this iconic Dog Tag will be yours.
- December 22: Vehicle Skins are introduced to Battlefield 1. In the new Battlepacks revision you might get hold of two Heavy Tank skins: the Distinguished “SchnucK” or the Legendary “Desert Gold.”
- December 23 – December 29: All players that login to Battlefield 1 during this period will receive a free Battlepack (one per account.)
- December 23 – December 29: All Battlefield 1 Premium Pass owners that login between December 23 and December 29 will receive two Superior Battlepacks.
