Critic Peter Brown wrote a review of Dragon Ball FighterZ and had some intriguing choice of words toward the game. “[…] Past games attempted to get there through huge character rosters and deliberately predictable trips down memory lane,” he said. “FighterZ has bottled the essence of what makes the series’ characters, animation and, sense of humor so beloved and reconfigured it into something new: a Dragon Ball fighting game that can go toe-to-toe with the best of the genre.”
He also went on to say that Dragon Ball was created specifically to reach the hearts of their gaming audience’s most dedicated and loyal fans. The qualities displayed throughout the game would even draw in the most unfamiliar of people to the gaming world and win them over.
Many of these games have DLC packs on sale as well, so even if you already have some of these games in your possession expanding it wouldn’t hurt. To purchase any of the anime games listed above go to the PlayStation website for more details.
