Ayo the Clown Release Date set for Nintendo Switch and PC

The game with striking graphics, Ayo the Clown, has finally gained a release date for Nintendo Switch and PC. Developer Cloud M1 released a new trailer today announcing that the game will officially launch on July 28. The trailer outlines the different worlds, obstacles, ‘bosses,’ and secrets to expect when you play the game. Ayo the Clown will also feature eight different regions to play through and the trailer gives us a sneak peek into some of the beautifully crafted worlds that will be included in the Switch and PC versions.

For those unfamiliar with Ayo the Clown, here’s a rundown of its storyline and gameplay. Players will start the game in Ayo’s hometown accompanied by Bo, a talented circus dog. Ayo’s hometown is generally pretty peaceful until the day when Bo goes missing, this will embark the beginning of the journey. Ayo must find his beloved dog while trying to uncover the mystery behind his unexpected disappearance. He won’t be alone though, like all good adventures, the not-so-average little clown will be aided by some friendly and interesting creatures who will be more than willing to help Ayo reunite with his dog.

As far as gameplay, players will play as Ayo, floating up to the skies with the help of balloons to get to differing checkpoints in the game. Initially, Ayo doesn’t have any skills, so using items like water balloons, balloon swords, toy hammers, dinosaurs, helicopters, and tanks will help you survive each checkpoint. As players progress, Ayo will too, gradually earning skills throughout gameplay. Various collectibles like gems, rubber chickens, and fart bags will be available during your journey, so be prepared to keep an eye out for those.

If Ayo the Clown’s platforming matches the high-quality visuals presented in the trailer, then this game is sure to be a fan favorite.
