Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Gameplay And Release Date Revealed At Ubisoft Forward 2023

Game-play for Ubisoft’s open-world first-person adventure game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, was revealed at the Ubisoft Forward 2023 Monday afternoon, alongside a new trailer. With the collaborative might of Massive Entertainment, a studio collaboration with Disney and James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment, players will be able to experience the world of Pandora in breathtaking detail. According to the press release, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was developed to “maximize the power of new-gen consoles and PC.”

Set after the events of the first Avatar film, Players will take the roll of an unnamed Na’vi child abducted by the human militaristic corporation called the RDA that is eventually freed 15 years later. Now back in Pandora, players will have to reconnect with their lost heritage while defending the planet against the RDA, with the help of other Na’vi clans.

Players will be able to explore the “never-before-seen” continent of Pandora called the Western Frontier, with their customizable Na’vi and a personal mount called an ikran. With a variety of customizable items and up-gradable skills, players can hunt wildlife and battle enemies with either traditional Na’vi weapons, such as a bow and spear-thrower or deadly and destructive human weapons like as assault rifles, shotguns or rocket launchers.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set to release December 7, 2023 on the PlayStation 5 ,Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Luna sometime in 2023. Players that play Frontiers of Pandora on the PlayStation 5 will get the Aranahe Warrior Pack for free. Pre-orders are available now for the Standard Edition, Collector’s Edition, Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition. While each edition includes different perks for players, all pre-orders will receive the Child of Two Worlds pack, which includes one character cosmetic set and weapon skin.
