After what seems like an eternity, From Software’s original franchise series has finally returned!! Announced at The Game Awards 2022, Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon is the first entry in over a decade. The game will release sometime in 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/Series S and PC.
While we didn’t get any gameplay, the trailer served as a reintroduction to the world of Armored Core, which at this point has become a vast wasteland due to the constant mecha battles. Speaking of which, the trailer teases this by showing some some mecha’s going at it, giant metal sword and all. It’s everything that the fanbase has been wanting and more, and while we’re still waiting on more information, we’re still very excited nonetheless. Armored Core is back!
