Astria Ascending takes place in the world of Orcanon where players take control of eight Demigods who must protect the world. The game will have a mature and extensive narrative created by Kazuhige Nojima (Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy VII Remake), as well as a music score by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII, Vagrant Story). Players will venture to five different cities filled with unique creatures, as well as twenty-five different dungeons to explore. Each of the demigods are customizable, with twenty different classes to choose from. Astria Ascending also features a variety of minigames to break up the combat, including shoot ’em ups, environmental puzzles, and an original card game. The game is expected to take players thirty hours to complete casually, and fifty hours for completionists. The game will include full voice acting in both English and Japanese.
Astria Ascending will release on both console and PC sometime in 2021. The game will also be available for download with Xbox Game Pass. Those who are interested in the game are currently able to wishlist it on Steam in order to be notified when the game finally releases.
