Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Receives Mixed Reviews on Release

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced released earlier today, and has already received nearly 3000 reviews on Steam. However, these reviews are mixed overall, many praising the game for its gameplay and familiar story of the original, and many others criticizing it for many bugs and issues. But by far, the biggest complaint players have is the microtransactions that released alongside the game.

Ubisoft has become known for putting quite a bit of paid content into their games, especially with the more recent Assassin’s Creed games. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is no different, it seems. The game’s price is currently $59.99 on Steam, and the deluxe edition is $69.99, both of which being standard prices for games in today’s era of gaming. On top of the initial price for the game, Black Flag Resynced also has up to $84.91 of DLC within the game itself. This has left many fans irritated with Ubisoft. Moreover, quite a number of reviews are upset about some of the performance issues the game has had, including texture bugs, stuttering, and other issues.

There’s plenty of good things that players have to say about Black Flag Resynced, too. Players have found themselves enjoying the upgraded graphics, and are happy to be returning the the excellent story of the original Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. Many of these reviews aren’t one-sided, and provide many different views and opinions on the game on its initial release, providing thoughts on the positive and the negative.

While there are still plenty of reviews, it’s important to remember that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced just released today. The game still has a lot of time to update and grow through its lifecycle as a game. There will be plenty of updates, patches and extra content that will release as the game goes on. All that can be done is wait and see how Ubisoft will handle it, and how players will react to it.
