ARMA 3 DLC, Tac-Ops Single Player Mission Pack, Gets Reveal and Release Date

In the past four years since the launch of Bohemia Interactive’s ARMA 3, the independent developers and publishers have been working on delivering more content to their realistic military simulation game. The latest DLC pack to be revealed, the Tac-Ops Single Player Mission Pack, also got a release date along with it.

The DLC pack will come with three new military operations for players to partake in. The first mission, Beyond Hope, will put players in the civil war of the fictional Republic of Altis and Stratis, nine years prior to the “East Wind” conflict, a military operation within the ARMA universe. The next mission, Stepping Stone, has players responding to the “East Wind” crisis alongside NATO reinforcements by securing the strategic island of Malden. The final mission, Steel Pegasus, has the player accompany NATO forces to stage an air assault during the invasion of Altis in hopes of opening a second front.

Each mission will have different outcomes based on the actions the player takes. Each completed, failed, or ignored objected, both main and side-objectives, will directly impact the mission going forward, result in different end results. In addition, the Tac-Ops Mission Pack will allow players to replay the given scenarios from the perspectives of different units. All three missions will receive practical insight videos from one of Bohemia Interactive’s military consultants in order to help players better understand military combat and tactics. Extra content will also be included in the mission pack in the form of Steam achievements, newly composed music tracks, and new scripted events for use in creating custom ARMA 3 scenarios.

The Tac-Ops Single Player Mission Pack will be available for purchase on November 30th on Steam and the Bohemian Interactive store for $5.99. The DLC pack is also -10% for pre-order at the moment, and it is -25% off if purchased in the ARMA III DLC bundle 2.
