Respawns’s Apex Legends is not holding back on new content Season 2 continues to deliver. Now, something big is on it’s way. Recent info has been shown Apex will be dropping content that fans have been requesting ever since the game released and players can expect to see it within the next few weeks. No one knows what the content actually is but many have ideas what to expect when the top requested features are taken into perspective.
Dextero found info that publisher EA has just announced in its first quarter fiscal 2020 earnings call Apex Legends will be releasing a surprise based on one of the most requested features to be added to the game. Details from the report stated, “the event coming in the next few weeks that will bring new content and deliver one of the most fan-requested features since the launch of Apex.” The report also adds that “there will be more updates and in-game experiences in the weeks to come for Season 2, and Season 3 is shaping up to be even bigger.”
There are a couple of ideas of that this fan-requested feature might actually be. They all are quite different in varying degree as well. One of the ideas is changing the number of players in a team as Apex is strictly based on trios at the moment. Many speculate the possibility of duos being implemented or singles for that matter. Some fans have even requested to have a party of 4 but many would argue the amount of skill-based deployment from the legends could get overwhelming.
Another possible feature is the implementation mechs from the traditional Titalfall games. Those who are fans of Titanfall have enjoyed Apex and its familiarities to the fast-paced combat and have requested in great numbers the addition. Another possible addition could be an improved training mode. Many have also requested a more fine-tuned mode for training with better shooting gallery dummies or even AI. As it stands, many players can not get a feel for the different legends to choose from and the many different load-outs that can be found in the game along with the multitude of attachments. Many wish to figure out the game more accordingly before being put against skilled players.
Nevertheless, this is all speculation as nothing has been set in stone. On a good note, fans won’t have to wait very long as the content will drop within the next few weeks. Apex Legends is free to play on Xbox One, PS4, and PC if you are interested in all the upcoming content.
