Apex Legends Reveals Abilities of the Newest Legend Newcastle

Apex Legends has officially released the trailer for Season 13 of the popular franchise. The trailer, along with some additional information, helped to explain some abilities of the newest legend Newcastle.

Newcastle is the brother of the well-known legend Bangalore, but he will come to the gamer with a set of abilities that are entirely different. Although Bangalore was one of the best offensive legends in the game, Newcastle will be primarily focused on the defensive end while he protects himself and his teammates.

Many of Newcastle’s abilities focus on his ability to provide shields to himself and the rest of his team. Newcastle’s first ability allows him to drag teammates who are injured faster than they are able to crawl. Additionally, he will cover both himself and his teammate with a shield as they are dragged to avoid further damage. This ability also allows Newcastle to revive his teammate as he drags them, meaning that he is the only character to help revive them while also moving.

Newcastle will also come with the ability called Mobile Shield. This ability is a shield that provides protection for multiple different legends at one time. Newcastle is able to control the direction the shield faces, but it will take some time for the directional change to kick in and begin to move. The shield will be split into two different sections with the top and bottom taking their own damage.

Finally, Newcastle will come with the ultimate ability that is called Castle Wall. This ultimate allows Newcastle to produce a shield with three different sections. Although this may seem like a simple ability, the Castle Wall ability also provides slits in the shield that allow players to attack the other team. Additionally, Newcastle is able to quickly move while the shield is up, which allows players a chance to quickly advance their teams standing on the battlefield.

Although Newcastle is not an offensive juggernaut, his abilities will allow teams to advance their standing and protect those who may have gotten hurt.
