At today’s EA Play Live, hit battle royale game Apex Legends released trailer for their next big update, Apex Legends: Emergence. The three-minute-long trailer features newly revealed hero Seer, who got his own trailer on July 19, teasing viewers about the upcoming change. Emergence is scheduled for launch on August 3 and will bring several updates to the game. Along with the new hero, it will also implement map changes, a new weapon in the Rampage LMG, ranked Arenas and refreshed cosmetics and battle pass.
This update ushers out Season 9 and ushers in Season 10 of Apex Legends, so big changes are to be expected as well as a new beginning on the battle pass. The newest hero to be released, Seer, has received a lore trailer, and is scheduled to receive a gameplay trailer one week before the release of Apex Legends: Emergence on July 26. He is designed to be more of a recon hero, and he relies heavily on a motif of paying close attention to detail.
Apex Legends: Emergence will be available on August 3rd on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Origin and Steam. More details will likely follow in the coming time before the launch. This will also signal the end of the Thrillseekers event, which began on July 13. The Apex Summer Splash Sale will end a little earlier, on July 27. Apex Legends seems to have fixed most of the issues they were encountering, and the Titanfall hack controversy has been cleared over, so it’s all smooth sailing for parent company Respawn for the moment.
