EA’s hit battle royale Apex Legends has seen some ups and downs in the past couple weeks. Following the success of their Genesis Collection Event, the matchmaking system in the game was hacked by fans of Titanfall who felt the older game was being neglected in favor of Apex Legends, which is to say nothing of the matchmaking troubles for high ranks that were not caused by any third party. Despite these pesky troubles, Apex recently had some good news to which players can look forward.
On July 8, Apex Legends announced their next event, Thrillseekers, which will take place right after the end of the Genesis Collection Event, the former beginning and the latter ending on July 13, 2021. The event will feature Overflow, a new Arena map, weekly reward tracks, and new cosmetics. Also starting July 13 is the Summer Splash Sale, which will include returning skins and discounts. The Thrillseekers event will run until August 3, and the Summer Splash Sale until July 27.
Get your adrenaline rush in the Thrillseekers Event! Duke it out in a new Arenas map, complete weekly rewards tracks, and snag new looks that’ll really give ya a rush. Show your opponents what a real daredevil can do starting July 13.
