Antonball Deluxe features three different game modes to choose from. In Antonball Arcade, you play as Anton Ball as he falls into the sewers of Boiler City, and must make his way home. Players must destroy all of the colorful bricks in each level by knocking flying balls into them. Unlike many of its predecessors, in Antonball Deluxe instead of controlling a paddle, players control Anton and must use their platforming skills in order to both bounce the ball into bricks, and to avoid different hazards.
The game’s second mode Punch Ball Antonball stars Annie Bell, Anton’s coworker, as she attempts to win the Punch Ball Championship. In this mode players will pick up and throw their titular punch ball into various enemies across five different worlds.
Antonball Deluxe‘s final mode is VS. Antonball and is dedicated to multiplayer. Players can face off against each other in teams to try and break all of the bricks on the other team’s side of the level. Up to four players can participate online. Local multiplayer is also available to players with gamepads. The game will also feature up to twenty one different characters to play as, and nine different stages to unlock and compete on.
Antonball Deluxe is now available on Steam for $19.99. Those who buy the game before March 12 will get the game at the discounted price of $15.99.
