Annapurna Interactive Announces 10 Games That Are Coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 For 2026

Annapurna Interactive announced in a tweet made on April 23 all the games they are bringing to the Nintendo Switch 2, and it’s a lot. Out of the titles, four of them are brand new and haven’t been fully released, while five of them are ports to the Nintendo Switch 2.

So what’s coming? Well, as of now, you can purchase three of the announced games: People of Notes, a newly released turn-based indie RPG, where you and a band save the world with its rhythm-based combat. Sayonara Wild Hearts was just released today, following the announcement. It’s another music-based game where you drive a motorcycle through colorful tracks to the beat of the soundtrack. Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is the last game announced/released, and it’s a third-person puzzle game set in a giant hotel. It’s up to the player to figure out what’s going on.

Following those games, we have five more that have confirmed dates on when they will be hitting the platform, and those games are Mixtapea narrative adventure game coming on May 7, Stray, an adventure game where you control cat released back in 2022, and is now seeing a port on May 28To a T: a puzzle-adventure game coming June 11. Wanderstop, a cozy, narrative-centric game, is coming June 23. And the last game with a confirmed release date is D-topia, an indie adventure-puzzle game releasing on Switch 2 on July 14.

Now, rounding out the list of games announced for 2026 are two games with unconfirmed release dates. The only information is that they will come to Nintendo Switch 2 is Forever Ago, a single-player road trip adventure game with a heartfelt story. And last but not least, Demi and the Fractured Dream, an indie action adventure game where you venture into the world of Somnus. And with that, the list of games releasing this year for the Nintendo Switch 2 by Annapurna Interactive comes to a close. It’s going to be a big year for the company, with many more to come. We will have to wait and see what else they have up their sleeve.

Having been exposed to storytelling for so long, I have been influenced, and through that influence, I seek to write and create my own stories that others can enjoy and that I can be proud of.
