Animal Crossing: New Horizons Brings in the Summer with New Update

Fans of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game will be excited to hear about their free new update coming out just in time for summer. As fans get ready to make a splash in their own island, a new update is coming to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch. This new update will bring in new features, interact with fresh faces, and discover a variety of new items.

One of the new features that will be coming along with the game is the swimming and diving feature. This new Animal Crossing: New Horizons feature will have fans avatars of the game to grab a swimsuit and get aquatically with their island marine life. The developers stated that “Swim in the inviting waters off the coast of your island and dive to discover and scoop up sea creatures that inhabit your island’s ecosystem.” Fans should also keep their eyes peeled for any prospective additions to the museum and to make sure to listen for some fun facts from Blathers when you donate your new discoveries.

Another thing that will be added to New Horizons’ summer update is Pascal bringing in rewarding recipes while players are having fun swimming. This friendly visitor Pascal seems to love scallops, and if players discover one while diving, Pascal will ask you if he can have. And as a thank you, he will share some of his mermaid-themed DIY recipes with you.

Also once downloading this free update, fans will notice a familiar face washing up on shore but sporting slightly a different, pirate-like outfit. This familiar character name is Gulliver, players will have to offer him a helping hand and he’ll send a special reward to you to show his gratitude.

Fans should be in the lookout for another summer update in August as well. But for now, players will be having an amazing experience with this free update coming to their island over the course of summer and beyond. Animal Crossing: New Horizons coming new summer update coming out July 3.
