Just today, developer and publisher Reveal Team have released a gameplay trailer for Anima Keeper. The team developing Anima Keeper have not officially announced any release date as of yet, but the game will be on PC through Stream and players who are interested can wishlist the game now.

The trailer first begins with the main protagonist eliminating an enemy with magic, then with a sword, and lastly with fire. There will also be different weapons and tools to aid the protagonist on their combat journey, such as a bomb or other magical technology. There are zombie-like enemies that the player will fight against as well as travel through portals to other realms.

Anima Keeper is a first-person, open-world action RPG where the player must survive in a fallen empire before it collapses, find out what happened to the empire, as well as investigate the GHOST that has inhabited the main protagonist’s body. Players will be able to collect items, research different spells, and destroy marauders.

In the fallen world, magic has developed over time and the players will be able to create new devices that harness magical spells and powers. As players explore the world, they have the ability to befriend merchants and they will help unlock new crafting recipes for the magical devices. Players will be able to find many treasures throughout the world, and they must collect the valuable items as well as build up their relationship with vendors from the hideout.

According to the Steam description, “The world of Anima Keeper is callous and challenging. Danger will be waiting for you at every corner. Most places have their unique story, which can be discovered by traveling to the astral world, a separate dimension that holds more information. The creatures of the astral world do not like visitors, so be sure you are well prepared.”
