Android Users Get First Taste of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad in Closed Beta This January

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is an upcoming action-adventure RPG developed by Netmarble, set in the iconic Game of Thrones universe. It follows events surrounding House Tyre during the fourth season of Game of Thrones. Players take on the role of Marrok Tyre, the illegitimate heir summoned to defend the ancestral home after the massacre of the legitimate heirs at the Red Wedding. The mobile game features three different classes for players to choose from, including “Sellsword,” “Knight,” and “Assassin.” As with any RPG, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad aims to bring its players a story-driven experience, allowing them to navigate the complex political landscape of Westeros, interact with iconic characters such as Jon Snow, and confront threats beyond the Wall.

The post let’s readers know that “Westeros is waiting” for them and encourages everyone to mark their calendars for the event. According to the post’s included graphic, regional closed beta testing is set to begin later this month on January 16. Registration for the test opened up a few days ago on January 7, giving anyone interested over a week to apply for the experience. The post includes a link for CBT registration, which takes readers directly to the game’s1 official website.

While many video games are available only to those who can afford expensive consoles and computers, mobile games are designed for the average person.
