Dim Bulb Games and Serenity Forge’s upcoming game Where The Water Tastes Like Wine is releasing in just a couple of days, and Gamespot has debuted a new trailer featuring music from the game. The music, which follows the tone of the American-folklore game, contains blues, folk music, and more. Ryan Ike, who also composed the music for Gunpoint, served as the composer for the game’s score.
“I’ve always been really interested in how music can change and take on a life of its own as people share it, and getting to explore that idea with WTWTLW‘s world map theme–which shifts styles and influences depending on where you are in the country–was awesome,” Ike told Gamespot. “I’m also big fan of how people from different backgrounds can come together to form one musical culture.” Three out of the soundtrack’s thirty songs are available to stream on Ike’s bandcamp page, with the rest releasing on the same day as the game.
In the new trailer, you’ll also be able to hear a few of the bigger-name voices featured in the game, including Dave Fennoy (Telltale’s Walking Dead), Kimberly Brooks (Mass Effect), and Cissy Jones (Firewatch). Most notably, the game also features the voice of Grammy-winning singer and bassist Sting. You can check out the music trailer below:
