The highly anticipated Disney and Final Fantasy Mashup action RPG Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to release sometime this year. With all the excitement, it seems that the game can’t stay out of the spotlight, due to a recent string of notable leaks. Last month, a few screenshots were revealed of a brand new world based on the Pixar movie Monster’s Inc that were questionable at first, but due to the amount of content that was shown, and the overall quality of the images, they are believed to be real. Not long after that “worldlist” for the game had also surfaced on the internet.
And now it looks like there is another rumor upon us by way of a excerpt from Playstation UK Magazine. Within the preview section it claims that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be split between the perspectives of both the main character Sora and Riku. It also went on to say that there will be a world based upon the Disney movie Fantasia within the game.
This excerpt has both excited and confused many fans of the game, as there is another Kingdom Hearts Game (Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance) that does indeed follow the perspectives of Sora and Riku, and also features a world based on the movie Fantasia. This leads to the possibility that the writer of the excerpt might either have mistaken KH3 for KH3D, or he has revealed some huge unannounced details for the game ahead of it’s next showcase slated for next month at Japan’s D23 expo.
