Alan Wake 2 announced at The Game Awards 2021

After about a decade, Alan Wake 2 was announced for release in 2023. This is going to be a horror game, as a departure from the more action based games in the past. With recent tie-ins with other games like Control expanding the universe after many years, fans of the Alan Wake universe must be excited to see this game finally announced. With a variety of environments shown in the cinematic only trailer, Alan Wake 2 looks to be taking full advantage of next gen hardware in order to provide a truly varied and fleshed out horror game in a world laden with supernatural threats.
