Al Pacino Inexplicably Arrives at The Game Awards 2022, Christopher Judge Goes on an 8 Minute Speech

Of all the things to see at The Game Awards, famous actor Al Pacino is easily one of the last we’d expect to see. Yet, in 2022, Geoff Keighly continues to surprise the video game community, and by having Michael Corleon/Scarface present the very first award, we all had our jaws on the floor. Pacino, who immediately revealed that he is not a gamer, expressed his love and admiration for the performances, while also having issues reading the teleprompter. It was quite the experience.

Pacino presented the Best Performance Award to the eventual winner, which ended up being Christopher Judge for the role of Kratos in God of War: Ragnarok. This in turn turned into yet another interesting experience in which Judge went on an 18 minute speech for his win. We haven’t checked the record for longest speech at an award ceremony yet but this is more than likely up there with some of the longer ones. Either way, Al Pacino sat back and enjoyed Judges inspiring speech, which ended with him finally being played off. Only at The Game Awards can we see these kinds of events.
