505 Games Reveals Control Demo Coming To E3 2019

E3 is a time where many brand new titles are revealed from studios who have worked hard in silence to reveal them. But many companies also use this time to give fans fresh looks at titles they’ve already announced but are yet to be released.

Last year, 505 Games and Remedy Entertainment revealed their secret project Control formerly known as P7. Control is a 3rd Person action adventure titles that puts players into the role of the director of a secret agency that has been taken over by an ominous outer-worldly threat. The developer has given director Jesse Fadden (the protagonist) two key elements that make the gameplay of Control truly unique.

She has access to an equally adaptable and upgradable pistol as well as supernatural telekinetic abilities. With these tools, players must then make their way through huge seemingly ever changing building set in New York that hosts a variety of environments and architecture all shifting and teeming with dangerous enemies and a destructible environment to use at your disposal. During last year’s E3, the developer stressed that the title was in heavy development and only gave a behind behind closed doors demo.

But this year, with the release of the game drawing ever closer, the studio is ready to go all out in regards to the Control at E3 before it releases in August. Remedy Entertainment plans to reveal a playable near final mission in the game. 505 Games has provided screenshots from the upcoming demo that include shots of characters, new enemies, and new environments.

There’s less than a week to wait until we can get a full reveal of just what Remedy Entertainment and 505 Games has in store for us. Control is set to release on August 27, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and is currently available for preorder worldwide.
