2K Uploads Screenshots For BioShock Collection Remaster

Fans have been hoping for backwards compatibility or a remaster of the BioShock games for ages, and, even though there was no official confirmation at E3 this year, a remastered collection is all but confirmed to be on the horizon. It’s the world’s worst kept secret, and today, however briefly, we snagged yet another glimpse.

According to a NeoGaf thread, several screenshots were on the official 2K Games website, along with the collection’s box art,  and a page with the set’s name that has since been taken down. Coincidentally, as spotted by Kotaku, it seems that Bioshock‘s Twitter, despite being started back in October 2015, is just now active and tweeting.

This is the worst kept surprise in the history of game announcements, with leak after leak coming from ratings boards and retailers alike. Back in March, the Taiwanese Ratings Board posted the box art for the collection, along with rating for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and, in April, the ESRB posted their own Mature rating for the collection as well. The collection popped up on Raru, South African retailer, back in September of last year, with a release date of November 27, and also received a rating from the Brazil Advisory Rating Board.
