According to the developers, the achievement of 4 million units sold in the first three months reflects overwhelming global enthusiasm for 007 First Light. The game’s exceptional critical and commercial performance across all platforms, with the launch on Nintendo Switch 2 to come later in 2026, demonstrates the franchise’s enduring appeal and the positive reception towards the studio’s ambitious vision to deliver a premium, original Bond experience worldwide.
IO Interactive is committed to keeping players enganged with the world of 007 throughout Year One with a comperhensive roadmap that includes regular Tactical Simulation updates featuring new challenges across some of the game’s iconic locations, including Kensington’s Workshop, Slovakia’s mountain slopes, Mauritania’s black market, and Vietnam’s luxury resort, The Pearl.
