From the creators of the popular puzzle transit game, Mini Metro comes its successor, Mini Motorways. While the former game is all about constructing a rail transit network, Mini Motorways changes it up a little and has players construct a road map. And earlier this week, the developers, Dinosaur Polo Club have announced that their new game will be coming out this summer to multiple platforms after its release almost a year and a half ago on Apple Arcade.
Calling all city planners! Mini Motorways will be available on Steam and freshly updated on Apple Arcade on July 20th. We really appreciate your patience while we’ve navigated the many potholes and roadworks of 2020 and 2021 😊We can’t wait to share this update with you! pic.twitter.com/GCmxi71dlu

As mentioned before, players will be tasked with designing a road map for a growing city. Players will have to decide where to place traffic lights, bridges, roads, and motorways to efficiently transport their mini, bustling commuters to where they need to go in a timely fashion. The launch is going to include two new maps, Dubai and Mexico City, as well as a new road feature, roundabouts. The graphics are reminiscent of Mini Metro with the same colorful minimalistic aesthetic that makes the game a joy to play. In addition, there are multiple accessibility modes to choose from which include colorblind and night mode. Dinosaur Polo Club has stated that they are going to be supporting Mini Motorways into the future by releasing new game modes, challenges, items, and more.
Mini Motorways will be released on July 20 for Mac and PC for $9.99 and will later be followed by a release on the Nintendo Switch early next year. On launch day there will be a 10% discount so make sure to buy it then for some savings.
