Extended remake of the Playstation 3 exclusive strategy JRPG, Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten, titled Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited is set for launch across Europe and America Aug. 14 of this year on Playstation Vita. The remake has already been released in Japan by Japanese publisher and developer Nippon Ichi Software.
According to a recently released trailer on NIS’s youtube channel, the newer PS Vita edition will feature several new ‘scenarios,’ such as “Time Leap,” a new story arc involving characters Tyrant Valvatorez and Sister Artina. The game will also come bundled with over 50 items of downloadable content from the original release, according to the trailer.
The game involves the aforementioned Tyrant Valvatorez gathering a group of fellow Netherworld residents in a rebellion against their government. It’s gameplay is turn-based strategy, where each character has their own abilities, along with multiple general gameplay features.
A limited edition bundle is available, which includes the game, a poster, three keychains, a microfiber cloth, and the containing collectors box.
Preorders for Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited can be found on the Nippon Ichi Software website for America and Europe. The basic edition is priced at $39.99 and £39.99, while the limited edition rests at $49.99 and £49.99 for America and Europe, respectively.
