PAX AUS is coming up this month and fans of CD Projekt Red will be happy to know that one of the events includes the long awaited Cyberpunk 2077. The highly anticipated sci-fi action adventure RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will be shown publicly for the first time at PAX AUS in Melbourne, Victoria later this month. According to both Gamespot and the PAX AUS Schedule, visitors will be able to see live 45 minute demonstrations of one of the most anticipated games from the 11th-13th of October. Attendees will be able to see the first two gameplay demonstrations in the Main theatre, while the third one will be held in a theatre owned by Gamespot.
The schedule states that the first showing will occur on October 11th starting at 1:00 pm local time, the second showing will occur on the 12th at 3:00 pm, and the final showing will occur on the 13th at 12:30 pm. Attendees of PAX AUS will also be able to participate in a cosplay competition at the Xbox Booth. Fans of the Cyberpunk genre can show off their fashion in a competition for a $5000 prize. The Xbox booth will also have Cyberpunk 2077 t-shirts and posters available for purchase, signing opportunities as well as more video presentation available.
Cyberpunk 2077 will include many features that will allow for entertaining and diverse forms of gameplay including eventually having a multiplayer option once the game releases. The gameplay will also be more immersive because the game will be played largely through a first-person perspective. CD Projekt Red is also taking a step towards gender inclusiveness in video games with their decision to remove the gender choice from character creation. PAX AUS will be taking place in Melbourne, Victoria from October 11th through the 13th and Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC when it releases in April 2020.
