The earlier reports indicated that CD Projekt Red had several teams working on the game including a team that of around 40 industry specialists engaging in technology R&D. This news also confirms the news of post-launch support coming for the game with DLC that will be free, similar to some content that was released later for The Witcher III: Wild Hunt.
The multiplayer jobs that CD Projekt Red is currently hiring for are a 3D character artist, design director, DevOps engineer, game designer, lead QA analyst, network programmer, senior gameplay programmer, and a tools programmer.
Recently, CD Projekt Red revealed a deep dive video sharing new gameplay for Cyberpunk 2077. The footage shares a first look at a new location called Pacifica and went into detail on its place in the world of the game. The game also showcased a mission that introduced several gang factions and highlighted the many different ways you can play Cyberpunk 2077 with what CD Projekt Red call playstyles. The two that were showcased were a solo build where players will take a head-on approach to combat and encounters and a playstyle called netrunner where players will rely on their hacking skills. CD Projekt Red also revealed that they are getting rid of choosing gender in character customization and that most of the cutscenes for Cyberpunk 2077 will be locked in first-person.
Cyberpunk 2077 releases on April 16, 2020, for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and sometime later for Google Stadia.
