Red Light On is an upcoming “FPS,” aka “First Person Shooter” game via a new trailer. The devs, V Studios, have recently dropped a few trailers to promote the upcoming game. And the one this article’s focusing on, the “Official Zombie Gameplay Trailer” is the most recent one uploaded to YouTube. It focuses on how Zombies play into the more serious vibe of Red Light On, and how their Zombies work.
The Zombie Trailer starts off with a cave structure which the player explores before returning above ground, moving around with light and gun, to illuminate all the zombies from afar. The protagonist goes back in the cave and avoids the grasp of a zombie, while loading their gun. They then continue exploring the tunnels, then the aboveground upstairs building while a huge pile of zombies swarm. One of the landscapes is a cemetery, so there are dead bodies, and rubble around, hinting at the ruin of civilization or just an empty cemetery, time will tell. You can explore a ramshackle bridge that’s just above water and next to a bunch of trees, trees that can no doubt hide any incoming attackers.
The protagonist shoots a couple of rounds at a zombie killing it, then repeats the same process with another zombie, while more zombies stagger in the background. The cemetery also becomes a shooting ground, as zombies crawl and the player takes out all those coming towards him. A new location is revealed in the trailer, an abandoned red wooden house, with aspects of the life its owners had before. More action occurs in the mines, and in a quasi town where the protagonist shoots zombies at cabins and all along the roads of the ghost town, one particularly stubborn zombie seems to follow the protagonist up the steps and across location before it grabs him. Red Light On will be found on Steam!
