On March 18, 2026, game publisher THQ Nordic announced four titles are coming to the Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 later this year. THQ Nordic, in a tweet on X, stated that SpongeBob SquarePants: Titan of the Tide would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. They also said that three other games would be joining the Nintendo Switch 2 library: Destroy All Humans! & Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed, and Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed.

In later tweets, THQ Nordic announced the release dates for each title. Destroy All Humans! Will be joining the Switch 2 library on June 23, 2026, while its sequel, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, will be coming on September 15, 2026, to the Switch 2. Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 6, 2026. The last title, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titan of the Tide, will be joining the Nintendo Switch library on October 13, 2026.

With this announcement, fans can look forward to experiencing some classic and new titles for the first time on their Nintendo Switch this coming year. With both Destroy All Humans games being remastered in recent years, old fans and new players were able to experience the classic title with modern graphics. Still, with this announcement, they can now play the games on their Nintendo Switch 2 and on the go with the handheld. The same can be said about Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, initially released back in 2024. You can now experience the game on new hardware later this year. With all these announcements, many players are excited about the titles and looking forward to what else THQ Nordic has in store for the year. But now begs the question: which of the many titles to pick up and play first, and dive into new and old worlds.
